Overview

This role involves managing end-to-end quote-to-revenue processes within an SAP ecosystem, with a focus on Pricing, Contract Management, Rebate Management, and Revenue Management. The Business Process Manager (BPM) ensures processes are standardized, optimized, and aligned with organizational goals. Responsibilities include translating business needs into system requirements, leading implementations, managing change, and driving continuous improvement. The BPM supports global deployments, maintains template integrity, and collaborates cross-functionally with Sales, Pricing Strategy, Legal, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to deliver scalable, compliant, and harmonized solutions.

Responsibilities

Process Leadership & Governance

  • Own the entire Order to Cash (OTC) lifecycle for Pricing, Contract Management, Rebate Management, and Revenue Management.
  • Lead process governance to monitor performance, compliance, and transformation progress.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Pricing Strategy, Legal, Finance, and Supply Chain to optimize processes.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory and audit requirements.
  • Support Center of Excellence governance by aligning initiatives with strategic objectives.
  • Coordinate resources across subject matter experts, technical teams, and vendors for ERP projects.
  • Act as a change agent promoting process excellence and SAP adoption.

Process Analysis, Design & Optimization

  • Define and maintain global process standards and frameworks for OTC Pricing, Contract Management, Rebate Management, and Revenue Management.
  • Design, maintain, and improve pricing, rebate, and incentive programs in SAP S/4HANA.
  • Define and manage accrual logic, settlement rules, and calculation bases.
  • Partner with Finance and Commercial teams to ensure accurate financial postings.
  • Drive process standardization and compliance across markets.
  • Support scenarios involving credit/debit notes, chargebacks, and settlement workflows.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, map current and future processes, and identify improvements.
  • Lead workshops to define business rules, functional requirements, and end-to-end OTC process flows.
  • Ensure designs follow global templates, governance standards, and internal controls.
  • Conduct change impact assessments and develop mitigation plans.
  • Manage impacts of business changes such as pricing strategy shifts, new commercial models, regulatory requirements, or product launches.

SAP S/4HANA SD Functional Requirements & Solution Delivery

  • Maintain SAP template integrity adhering to fit-to-standard principles.
  • Collaborate with Solution Architects to translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, and test scenarios.
  • Govern template changes through structured Change Control processes.
  • Oversee maintenance, design, and testing of Sales and Distribution (SD) capabilities including:
    • Pricing procedures, condition types, access sequences, scales, rebates.
    • Customer and material pricing structures.
    • Value/Quantity Contracts, Scheduling Agreements, Promotions.
    • Rebate agreements including customer rebates, sales incentives, growth rebates, tiered discounts.
    • Revenue management processes such as accruals, settlements, and integration with revenue recognition tools.
  • Support design of Settlement Management or related tools used for chargebacks, incentives, and agreement settlements.
  • Ensure integration with FI/CO, MM, GTS, TM, and revenue recognition engines.

Testing, Deployment & Hypercare

  • Lead Unit, System Integration, User Acceptance, regression testing, and production validation.
  • Manage test scripts, execution cycles, and defect resolution.
  • Support cutover planning, data validation, and go-live readiness.
  • Provide Hypercare support and stabilization for SD, Settlement Management, and Fiori processes.

Data, Reporting & Controls

  • Support analytics through embedded S/4HANA or Settlement Management reporting, Fiori dashboards, SAC, or BW.
  • Ensure compliance with SOX/GxP and internal control frameworks.
  • Manage pricing, contract, and rebate data loads and validations.
  • Support analytics for pricing performance, rebate utilization, margin realization, and revenue reporting.

    • Financial integration for rebates and revenue.
  • Ability to write high-quality functional requirements and collaborate with solution architects.
  • Experience with data migration tools and SAP testing platforms.
  • Familiarity with Settlement Management tools such as Vistex, BRIM, SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR).
  • Participation in S/4HANA global template design or deployments.
  • Process design and optimization focused on compliance and efficiency.
  • Ability to work with technical teams to deliver robust, secure, and scalable ERP architecture.
