Staff Accountant - Client Accounting Services

Overview

The organization is seeking two (2) Staff Accountants for Client Accounting Services. This is a fully remote role supporting multiple clients in a high-trust, high-accountability environment.

Compensation: Base pay up to $72K plus bonus, with 100% employer-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance. The listing also states a competitive base salary up to $80K DOE and an annual bonus opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting for multiple clients using QuickBooks Online
• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts on an ongoing basis
• Prepare monthly financial statements, including P&L and balance sheets
• Record and review journal entries for payroll, revenue, accruals, and adjustments
• Support month-end close with accuracy and consistency
• Assist with cleanup of prior-period books for new clients when needed
• Collaborate with managers and teammates to ensure work is completed on time
• Occasionally join onboarding or client calls for clarification or support

Requirements

• 2 or more years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting, preferably in public accounting or outsourced accounting
• Strong experience with QuickBooks Online
• Solid understanding of debits and credits and how financial statements work
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, remote environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior cleanup experience (listed as a BIG PLUS)
