Overview
A growing accounting and tax firm is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join their Client Accounting Services team. This role involves managing a portfolio of small business clients by preparing monthly financial statements, reconciling accounts, assisting with sales tax filings, and supporting clients in maintaining accurate books and understanding their financials.
Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly financial statements
- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
- Record payroll, depreciation, and other journal entries
- Assist with sales tax preparation and filing
- Process client bill pay and invoicing
- Communicate with clients regarding bookkeeping and QuickBooks Online questions
- Maintain accurate and timely work within established workflows and deadlines
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of bookkeeping, accounting, or client accounting experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience with QuickBooks Online
- Experience preparing financial statements and account reconciliations
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple clients and meet recurring monthly deadlines
- Resident of Georgia with authorization to work in the United States
Compensation & Benefits
- $25 per hour base pay ($52,000 annualized) plus performance incentives
- Earnings potential approximately $60,000–$65,000+

Work Location & Hours
- Georgia residents may work remotely, in a hybrid arrangement, or from the Dunwoody office
- Full-time role with flexible work hours, typically 9 AM to 5 PM
