Overview
A leader in the Business Services sector is seeking a Strategic Finance Consultant to enhance forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning processes that support business decision-making. This role involves partnering with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to improve financial discipline, controls, and resource allocation, influencing enterprise performance and scalable financial operations.
Location: Remote (US-based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available)
Compensation: $135,200 – $176,800 annually
Responsibilities
- Build and refine advanced financial models for various analyses
- Evaluate financial viability of strategic deals and investments
- Develop dynamic dashboards and performance reports using Excel and Google Sheets
- Analyze KPIs, trends, and variances to identify opportunities for improvement
- Serve as a finance partner to Sales, Operations, and executive leadership
- Communicate financial results and recommendations to non-finance stakeholders
- Support finance initiatives through market and internal resource analysis
- Utilize automation and AI solutions to enhance financial processes
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in Strategic Finance, FP&A, Deal Desk, or Management Consulting
- Experience in the technology industry, preferably within Cloud or SaaS environments
- Strong expertise in financial modeling, including scenario and long-range planning
- Ability to synthesize complex datasets into actionable insights
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for complex modeling and reporting
- Experience with financial reporting; familiarity with SQL or BigQuery is a plus
- Excellent communication skills for conveying financial narratives to diverse audiences
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Experience with financial modeling tools such as Adaptive Insights or Host Analytics
- Familiarity with visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI
- Knowledge of automation tools such as Alteryx or UiPath
- Experience with data analysis software including R or Python
