Overview
A financial services organization is seeking a Strategic Finance professional to support the growth of its top-line revenue streams with large business-to-business (B2B) merchant partners. This role is part of the Revenue Finance group and involves driving company strategy, providing real-time forecasts and analytics, and guiding the company toward achieving its financial goals.
Responsibilities
- Partner with cross-functional leaders including Product, Growth Analytics, Credit, Revenue, and Merchant Pricing teams to drive business outcomes through strategic and analytical support.
- Build and maintain financial models to forecast, reconcile, and explain variances across various metrics.
- Collaborate with the machine learning modeling team to integrate financial models with aggregated ML forecasts.
- Establish top-line performance metrics and targets, analyze and report financial performance to executives and company leaders, and drive accountability for results.
- Design and deliver scalable automated user and financial dashboards and analytics for cross-departmental and executive use.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in fast-paced analytical roles such as strategic finance, investment banking, consulting, data science, or analytics.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex financial information into clear, concise reports.
- Strong attention to detail combined with the ability to see the big picture and evaluate analyses within a strategic business context.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of effective cross-functional collaboration and presenting to company executives.
- Passion for disrupting the lending and financial industry.
- Strong sense of ownership, intellectual curiosity, and ability to think creatively and critically in a fast-paced, dynamic, and often ambiguous environment.
- Proficiency in Excel (preparedness for a financial model case study is expected).
- Comfort with SQL, Looker, and/or other data visualization tools; Python knowledge is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building contextual models or files.
- Experience with merchant payments and/or providing analytical support to B2B client relationship and sales teams.
- Curiosity and experience in building processes or models involving AI.
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay Grade: K
- Equity Grade: 6
- Base pay range for California, Washington, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut: $145,000 - $205,000 per year.
- Base pay range for all other U.S. states: $128,000 - $188,000 per year.
- Base pay is part of a total compensation package that may include equity rewards, monthly stipends for health, wellness, and technology spending, and benefits.

- This is a remote-first position within the United States.
- Employees can work from almost anywhere within their country of employment.
