Overview
This role involves providing high-net-worth (HNW) clients with expert tax advice and equity compensation planning. The position focuses on delivering accurate, timely tax filings and building reusable tools and logic to support AI-driven tax advice.
Responsibilities
- Manage a full book of HNW clients (net worth $1M to $25M) end-to-end with a target Net Promoter Score (NPS) of 70+.
- Prepare, review, and file individual and related business tax returns for HNW households.
- Serve as the team's expert on equity compensation, including ISO/NSO/RSU/ESPP, AMT crossover, 83(b) elections, QSBS, 409A valuations, secondary sales, and IPO/liquidity events.
- Collaborate on developing AI-driven tax advice by translating complex tax decisions into logic engineers can implement.
- Review and correct AI-generated tax advice.
- Address complex tax scenarios such as AMT, wash sales, multi-state allocations, QSBS, and pass-through entity optimization.
- Create and share reusable checklists, templates, and decision-tree specifications adopted by the team.
Requirements
- Active CPA license.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in individual tax preparation.
- Extensive experience preparing, reviewing, and filing a high volume of 1040 tax returns.
- Deep knowledge of equity compensation for both private and public company employees.
- Experience serving clients with net worth between $1 million and $25 million.
- Strong logical thinking, technology-forward mindset, low ego, and high personal agency.
Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of business tax returns, including S-corporations, partnerships, and Schedule C.

Compensation & Benefits
- Starting salary range: $137,400 - $161,600 USD (location does not affect salary).
- Actual compensation will be based on relevant skills, education, and experience.
