Overview
A public accounting firm headquartered in Little Rock, Arkansas, with additional offices in Conway and Heber Springs, is seeking a Tax Manager to lead client relationships, manage engagements, and support team development. This role involves ownership of work, building client trust, and contributing to a growing firm.
Responsibilities
- Manage a defined group of client engagements from start to finish.
- Review tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, S corporations, and trusts.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and maintain strong, responsive relationships throughout the year.
- Oversee workflow, deadlines, and quality across managed engagements.
- Coordinate with team members to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and progress.
- Conduct tax research and stay current on tax law and regulatory developments.
- Lead tax planning and advisory discussions to help clients make informed decisions.
- Assist clients with IRS and state tax authority notices, correspondence, and audits.
- Provide direction, feedback, and support to team members working on engagements.
