Overview
This role involves managing client relationships within a business tax team, ensuring the preparation and delivery of annual tax products and monthly financial work within expected timelines.
Responsibilities
- Prepare payroll, tax, and business records and reports.
- Prepare corporate and individual tax returns.
- Build new and strengthen existing client relationships while demonstrating knowledge of clients' businesses.
- Communicate and meet with clients as requested, providing recommendations to assist with financial or tax needs.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years in a similar role within a public accounting firm.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting highly desired or equivalent work experience.
- CPA certification highly desired or ability to attain.

Schedule
- Tax season may require 50-60 hour work weeks.
- Outside of tax season, expect 30-40 hour work weeks with flexibility around a typical Monday-Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. schedule.

The organization has 19 office locations including 13 in Wisconsin (Black Earth, Door County, Fort Atkinson, Mauston, Marshfield, Portage, Reedsburg, Sauk City, Sun Prairie, Tomah, Wausau, Wisconsin Dells-Lake Delton, and corporate headquarters in Baraboo), as well as offices in Phoenix, Goodyear, and Chandler, Arizona; Scottsbluff and Kimball, Nebraska; and Durango, Colorado.
