Overview
This role involves managing client relationships within a business tax team, ensuring the preparation and delivery of annual tax products and monthly financial work within expected timelines.
Responsibilities
- Prepare payroll, tax, and business records and reports.
- Prepare corporate and individual tax returns.
- Build new and strengthen existing client relationships while demonstrating knowledge of clients' businesses.
- Communicate and meet with clients as requested; provide recommendations to assist clients with financial or tax needs.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years in a similar role within a public accounting firm.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting highly desired or equivalent work experience.
- CPA certification highly desired or ability to attain.

Schedule
- Tax season may require 50-60 hour weeks.
- Outside tax season, work typically ranges from 30-40 hours per week.
- Flexible Monday-Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. schedule to accommodate personal and family time.

The organization operates multiple offices including locations in Wisconsin (Black Earth, Door County, Fort Atkinson, Mauston, Marshfield, Portage, Reedsburg, Sauk City, Sun Prairie, Tomah, Wausau, Wisconsin Dells-Lake Delton, and corporate headquarters in Baraboo), Arizona (Phoenix, Goodyear, Chandler), Nebraska (Scottsbluff, Kimball), and Colorado (Durango).
