Overview
A growing full-spectrum accounting firm based in Sacramento, CA, specializing in complex business tax, is seeking a Remote Tax Manager. This role offers the opportunity to work remotely or hybrid if local, managing complex pass-through business tax returns for high net worth clients.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee tax compliance, consulting, and planning for a portfolio of clients, including S Corporations and Partnerships.
- Review and prepare tax returns ensuring accuracy and compliance with current tax laws and regulations.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, providing exceptional customer service and support.
- Stay current with changes in tax laws and communicate updates to clients and team members.
- Mentor and guide junior team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; Master in Taxation highly preferred.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.
- Minimum of 5 years of public accounting experience focused on tax returns for S Corporations, Partnerships, and high net worth individuals.
- Experience supporting clients across various industries.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Experience with a Big Four accounting firm is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $140,000 - $170,000 per year.
