Responsibilities

• Develop and assess a fee-for-service model, social enterprise, client-run enterprise, or monetization of an existing program or service.
• Evaluate the financial viability of the proposed revenue stream.
• Forecast potential revenue over the next 1-3 years.
• Create a planning brief detailing:
  • Ideal consumer base
  • Initial investment and/or start-up costs
  • Running costs for administering the new venture
  • Pricing options
  • Break-even point estimates
• Brainstorm and present options based on similar models used by peer organizations.
• Conduct an in-depth evaluation and develop a potential implementation plan.

Support and Resources

• Access to relevant program data and current funding sources.
• Preliminary ideas and research conducted by the organization.
• Availability of key team members for context and feedback throughout the project.
• Initial brainstorming of potential service offerings and current cost structure provided.
