Overview
A leading organization in the Technical Services sector is seeking a Workday Financials Senior Principal Consultant Accounting Center - Global AMS. This role supports financial strategy, forecasting, and performance management initiatives to enhance business visibility and decision-making. The position involves partnering with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to improve planning processes, financial discipline, controls, and resource allocation. It offers the opportunity to influence enterprise performance and scalable financial operations within a Technical Services environment.
Location: Remote (US-based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available)
Compensation: $128,093 – $192,140 annually
Responsibilities
- Lead the Financials workstream, specifically Record to Report for assigned accounts
- Execute AMS and Implementation methodologies in Workday Financials engagements
- Collaborate with the Global Delivery Center (GDC) team on daily activities and incident management
- Provide on-call support and holiday coverage as needed
- Ensure adherence to Service Level Agreement (SLA) constructs
- Coordinate with stakeholders on high business impact issues
- Develop reporting dashboards to enhance Workday utilization
- Identify and resolve client issues affecting project scope or timeline
- Maintain the Workday platform with a focus on reporting and security administration
- Lead a team of Workday consultants across multiple engagements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Certification in Workday Financials is required
- 5-7 years of experience in Workday report writing and analytics
- Ability to multitask and perform various duties effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to go the extra mile to solve customer problems
- Analytical skills to resolve complex incidents using best practices
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Expertise in Workday Financials and Workday report writing & analytics
- Familiarity with Workday Implementation methodologies
- Understanding of SLA constructs
- Experience developing reporting dashboards
- Knowledge of business process maintenance
- Proficiency with SQL databases for data management and reporting
- Experience with data visualization tools to improve dashboards and reporting
- Use of analytical tools for incident analysis and best practice recommendations
- Familiarity with project management software for coordinating tasks and timelines
