Overview

A well-established, independently owned CPA and business advisory firm with over 70 years of history is seeking a Remote Tax Senior. The firm operates fully remotely with employees across multiple states and maintains a low billable hours model. This role offers a base salary up to $125,000 plus quarterly performance bonuses averaging 10%.

Responsibilities

• Prepare individual, pass-through, and business entity tax returns across various industries
• Support estate and trust tax matters (experience a plus)
• Manage workload with a focus on quality and timely delivery, especially during busy season (February through April)
• Collaborate remotely with team members and clients

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of public accounting tax experience
• CPA license required or actively pursuing (highly preferred)
• Strong generalist tax foundation covering individual, pass-through, and business entities
• Experience with estate and trust taxation is a plus
• Comfortable working fully remote and self-directed
• Background in regional or mid-sized accounting firms preferred
