2027 Summer Internship Program - Accounting

Overview

This role supports special projects, initiatives, and assignment-specific activities that vary by project. This is a 12-week, paid summer internship program for college students.

Responsibilities

• Assist in accounting and reporting by completing tasks such as:
  • Posting transactions in the accounting system
  • Performing detailed account reconciliations
• Complete reconciliations, billings, and payments in the accounting area, including reinsurance and pharmacy benefits
• Assist with state and federal regulatory reporting responsibilities as requested
• Provide analysis and reports to management as requested
• Perform other duties and ad hoc tasks as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
• Current Rising Junior or Senior in an accredited degree program or graduated within the last 6 months (required)

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Compensation & Benefits

• Compensation range: $41,200.00 - $66,000.00
• Compensation type: Hourly
• In addition to base compensation, you may qualify for a bonus tied to company and individual performance.
