Overview

A well-established third-party administrator with over 44 years of experience in health and benefit solutions is seeking an Accounts Payable/Receivable Specialist. This role involves managing invoice payments, cash receipts, general ledger reconciliations, claim recovery payments, credit card processes, and other accounting tasks to support the organization's financial operations.

Responsibilities

  • Process weekly invoice payments accurately and timely
  • Record cash receipts and prepare/post CMS and MW cash receipts
  • Perform general ledger reconciliations
  • Manage claim recovery payment processing
  • Maintain and update Rx override fee schedules
  • Process wire payments to vendors promptly
  • Coordinate and execute FBO account transfers
  • Support W-9 and 1099 processing and documentation
  • Maintain and update various tracking spreadsheets and financial records
  • Process credit card charges and employee expense reimbursements through the Concur system
  • Monitor and maintain Santander Bank Positive Pay files to ensure fraud prevention compliance
  • Manage deposit activities ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Interact with employees, bank representatives, external vendors, and other stakeholders as required

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of related experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
