Accountant

Overview

This role is part of the organization’s growth in regulated and strongly positioned jurisdictions. You will own end-to-end accounting for revenue and partnership arrangements, ensuring accurate recognition, timely close, and complete disclosures across customer and partner incentives.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end and quarter-end close for revenue and partnerships, including subledger reviews, exceptions, journals, and reconciliations
• Analyze balance sheet and P&L movements, investigate anomalies, and produce evidence-based commentary on key drivers
• Develop understanding of commercial economics, contract terms, and data flows to ensure transactions are complete and accurately reflected
• Review customer and partner arrangements and apply ASC 606 and US GAAP to incentives, revenue sharing, and non-standard terms
• Maintain and improve internal controls and reporting
• Partner with commercial, legal, tax, and data teams to define accounting and control requirements and support audits
• Identify, design, and implement AI and automation solutions—including generative models such as ChatGPT and Gemini—to reduce manual work, improve quality, and preserve human oversight, governance, and audit readiness
• Design and implement AI-driven automation and process improvements while preserving human oversight and auditability

Requirements

• 2+ years of relevant accounting or audit experience
• Professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent)
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, especially ASC 606, with hands-on experience in revenue recognition, partner incentives, variable consideration, and balance sheet reconciliations
• Familiarity with generative AI models (ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.) and prompt development

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ERP systems and transaction subledgers (Oracle or similar) and month/quarter close activities
• Experience or familiarity with Slack, Apple MacOS, and GSuite

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Pay Range: $86,000 - $117,500
• Starting pay is determined by factors including relevant experience, skill set, qualifications, and other business and organizational needs. Compensation ranges may differ for candidates in other locations.
