Overview
This role is an Accountant position supporting a fast-growing, nationally recognized accounting and advisory firm serving veterinary hospitals across the U.S. Work is fully remote and full-time.
In this position, you will manage a portfolio of veterinary practice clients through bookkeeping, reconciliations, financial reporting, onboarding, and ongoing client communication.
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of 10+ full-service bookkeeping clients
- Perform QuickBooks Online bookkeeping and monthly reconciliations
- Prepare and finalize monthly financial reporting packages
- Support month-end close and resolve outstanding accounting items
- Assist with new client onboarding, QBO setup, and bookkeeping cleanup
- Serve as a responsive, trusted point of contact for clients
- Participate in quarterly client conversations
- Manage deadlines and deliverables through workflow systems
- Collaborate with leadership and team members to improve the client experience
Requirements
- 2+ years of bookkeeping, accounting support, or outsourced accounting experience
- Strong QuickBooks Online proficiency
- Experience with reconciliations, financial reporting, and month-end close
- Excellent organization and time-management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
- Strong attention to detail and client-service mindset
Preferred Qualifications
- XCM or similar workflow experience
