Overview
An organization is seeking experienced accounting instructors to contribute to the development of AI systems by providing expertise in accounting principles. This role involves influencing how AI understands, reasons about, and explains financial concepts, thereby enhancing the quality and reliability of AI in the finance sector.
Responsibilities
- Review and evaluate AI-generated accounting questions, explanations, and worked examples for accuracy and clarity
- Assess correctness of concepts related to financial statements, bookkeeping, internal controls, and managerial accounting
- Identify errors, edge cases, and misleading or incomplete reasoning in AI outputs
- Provide structured, actionable feedback to improve the precision and educational quality of AI-generated content
- Work independently and asynchronously to complete task-based assignments on a flexible schedule
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years teaching accounting at the postsecondary level
- Strong knowledge of both financial and managerial accounting principles
- Skilled in evaluating written quantitative and rule-based reasoning
- Comfortable reviewing and rating structured content at scale
- Detail-oriented, reliable, and self-motivated
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA designation or Master's degree in Accounting
- Practical experience with audits, financial analysis, or applied accounting practice
- Prior exposure to AI systems, model evaluation, or educational content development
