Overview
An organization is seeking experienced accounting instructors to contribute to the training and improvement of AI systems focused on accounting principles and financial reporting. This role involves applying subject-matter expertise to help AI better understand, explain, and apply core accounting concepts, impacting intelligent tools used by finance professionals globally.
- Type: Hourly / Task-based Contract
- Location: Remote
- Commitment: 10–40 hours per week
Responsibilities
- Review and evaluate AI-generated accounting questions, explanations, and worked examples for accuracy and clarity
- Assess correctness of concepts related to financial statements, bookkeeping, internal controls, and managerial accounting
- Identify factual errors, edge cases, and ambiguous or misleading explanations
- Provide structured, detailed feedback to improve AI precision and reliability
- Work independently and asynchronously to meet project deadlines
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience teaching accounting at the postsecondary level
- Strong knowledge of financial and managerial accounting principles
- Ability to evaluate written quantitative and rule-based reasoning
- High attention to detail when reviewing structured content at scale
- Self-motivated and reliable in a remote, asynchronous work environment
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA designation or a Master's degree in Accounting
- Practical experience with audits, financial analysis, or applied accounting practice
- Prior experience with AI model evaluation or data annotation workflows
