Overview

An organization is seeking an Accounting Integration Specialist to join their Implementation team. This role requires a candidate with five or more years of professional experience combining accounting, software implementation, analytical skills, and client relationship management. The specialist will handle accounting data migrations and system implementations for customers with complex operational needs and strategic importance.

Responsibilities

  • Perform accounting data conversions from various complex CRM/accounting software to QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, and Intacct.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, delivering high-quality results.
  • Act as a QuickBooks/accounting subject matter expert and contribute to product development and integration efforts.
  • Communicate effectively, adapting tone and channels based on audience and circumstances.
  • Represent the organization in front of key clients, managing conversations from introductions to long-term relationship building.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet timelines and client accounting business requirements.
  • Facilitate sessions with client stakeholders to define scope, goals, deliverables, and resource needs.
  • Anticipate project risks and issues, address challenges proactively, mitigate risks, and escalate when necessary.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management; CPA preferred.
  • At least 3 years of professional experience, including 1-2 years each in accounting, data analysis, and client management.
  • Strong knowledge of QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop.
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Proven problem-solving abilities with creative solutions.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask, manage client expectations, and coordinate resources for timely project delivery.
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to anticipate client needs and potential roadblocks.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; demonstrated leadership and teamwork.
  • Familiarity with software and agile development is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range for U.S.-based candidates: $71,800 - $96,100 USD annually.
  • Compensation varies by location for candidates outside the U.S. and will be discussed during the hiring process.
  • Total compensation includes base salary, annual bonus, equity, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Location
