Accounting Manager

Overview

This is a fully remote Accounting Manager role.

This organization operates in the financial reporting software industry, using AI-powered and automated tools to improve accounting accuracy and efficiency. The role helps maintain timely financial reporting and supports technology adoption across the finance function.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounts receivable operations, including invoicing, collections, and cash application
• Oversee accounts payable processes, including vendor invoice management and payments
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and close activities
• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules
• Ensure compliance with GAAP in financial reporting
• Collaborate with FP&A and leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Maintain and enhance ERP and FP&A application workflows
• Identify automation opportunities in AR/AP and reporting processes
• Support internal and external audits with organized documentation
• Communicate financial results clearly to finance and non-finance stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Minimum of 5 years professional accounting experience
• Experience managing accounts receivable and accounts payable
• Strong financial reporting and month-end close experience
• Proficiency with FP&A applications, ERP systems, and AI-powered accounting tools
• Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Solid knowledge of GAAP
• High attention to detail and organizational skills

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $70,000 – $85,000
