Accounting Specialist (AP/AR)

Overview

This role supports both Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) operations, with responsibilities split approximately evenly between the two functions. You will process invoices, track and reconcile payments, support collections, and prepare recurring financial reporting. A key focus is analyzing campaign performance data to verify amounts owed by clients and ensuring reported revenue aligns with payments received.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve campaign performance, revenue, and payment reports from marketing tracking platforms to support Accounts Receivable calculations.
• Compare expected client revenue and payments against actual deposits, investigate discrepancies, and maintain accurate records of outstanding balances.
• Track invoices and overdue payments, follow up on outstanding balances, and support timely collections.
• Review and process vendor invoices and payment requests, verifying amounts and supporting documentation to ensure accurate, timely payments.
• Reconcile vendor statements and payment records, monitor payment schedules, and maintain organized Accounts Payable records for domestic and international transactions.
• Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports using campaign performance and transaction data, leveraging Excel or Google Sheets to organize information and support reconciliations.
• Learn and navigate marketing tracking platforms such as Voluum, Everflow, and CAKE to support financial tracking and reporting.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in accounting, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, billing, or a related finance role.
• Experience handling both Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable, including invoice processing, payment tracking, and reconciliations.
• Experience managing financial transactions involving international clients and/or vendors.
• Working knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets for financial tracking, reporting, and data organization.
• Ability to compare expected and actual payment amounts, identify discrepancies, and support their resolution.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Voluum, Everflow, CAKE, or similar marketing tracking platforms.
