Sr. Financial Systems Analyst

Overview

The organization is seeking a Sr. Financial Systems Analyst responsible for the day-to-day administration of OneStream, with primary support for the FP&A and Accounts Payable teams. This role maintains OneStream Planning (including forms, business rules, and data management jobs), keeps OneStream reports and dashboards accurate and current, and ensures data integrations occur in a timely and accurate manner while troubleshooting issues as they arise. Strong SQL skills and hands-on OneStream administration experience are required.

This role is part of a Financial Systems team that administers OneStream and Microsoft Dynamics SL (in transition to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central), JAMS, and integrations with multiple other source systems. The position will involve cross-training on these applications and may include additional administrative duties as workload permits.

This position supports key business activities related to month-end close and budgeting and forecasting cycles, while building strong working relationships across Finance, Accounting, Accounts Payable, and other operational groups, in collaboration with the appropriate IT resources.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary systems support resource for the FP&A team, including planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
• Serve as the primary systems support resource for the Accounts Payable team and its processes.
• Administer OneStream Planning, including maintaining forms, business rules, and data management jobs.
• Maintain OneStream reports and dashboards by building new content, enhancing existing content, and using SQL to support reporting and data validation.
• Resolve data integration and load issues within the tools.
• Support the monthly close process.
• Provide recommendations based on best practices; evaluate requirements; develop designs; and implement application changes.
• Develop training materials and provide end-user training as needed.
• Perform unit testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing for fixes, enhancements, projects, and upgrades.
• Manage application security.
• Act as a liaison between Finance and IT groups.
• Complete special projects and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Information Systems.
• 5 years of hands-on OneStream administration experience, preferably including Planning, reports and dashboards, and data integrations.
• Working knowledge of FP&A processes, including planning, budgeting, and forecasting, as well as Accounts Payable processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interpret, synthesize, and communicate information to stakeholders and team members.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and a hands-on approach.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic, and data-intensive environment.
• SQL skills are required for querying, validating, and troubleshooting financial data; advanced SQL skills are preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Banking or financial services industry experience.
• General ledger experience with systems such as Microsoft Dynamics SL, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Oracle, or PeopleSoft.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• API integration experience.
• Experience using AI tools to accelerate work (e.g., SQL development, documentation, or data analysis), with the judgment to validate AI-generated output for accuracy.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $90,000 - $115,000 USD
