Accounts Payable Specialist

Overview

This role involves hands-on accounts payable work focused on maintaining accurate, secure, and traceable financial records while supporting day-to-day market research and market-entry related consulting and decision-support needs.

Responsibilities

• Help protect confidential account information as part of the accounts payable workflow.
• Review financial inputs against supporting records.
• Reconcile discrepancies before reporting or processing.
• Track unresolved financial exceptions and support timely resolution.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation.
• Document financial analysis decisions clearly so another teammate can follow the reasoning.
• Coordinate across functions while managing exceptions, owners, and deadlines.
• Use sound judgment for variance analysis, escalating when needed rather than assuming.

Requirements

• Confident use of target market analysis and record maintenance while performing accounts payable execution within market entry research.
• Cross-functional coordination skills to track exceptions, owners, and deadlines.
• Ability to clearly document financial analysis decisions for traceability.
• Strong judgment around variance analysis, including knowing when escalation is required.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: $45,000–$65,000 per year
