Senior Associate, Information Assurance Services

Overview

This organization is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Risk Advisory Assurance Services (RaaS) Team. The role supports delivery of high-quality SOC audit and assurance engagements for clients across diverse industries and global markets. You will partner with engagement managers and audit teams to lead audit planning, execute testing of client controls, and provide advisory guidance aligned with leading industry practices.

Responsibilities

• Partner with engagement managers and audit teams to execute client engagements across diverse industries and global organizations.
• Lead client calls, walkthroughs, and observations; identify and communicate process improvement opportunities.
• Own audit planning activities, including drafting project timelines and document request lists.
• Review team members’ drafted client deliverables for quality, accuracy, and consistency.
• Execute testing of clients’ internal controls and review team members’ testing work products.
• Support clients in identifying control gaps and provide guidance on leading industry practices.
• Contribute to internal process improvement initiatives and firm-wide projects.
• Coordinate with other lead auditors on joint engagements involving multiple audit standards and frameworks, including HIPAA and HITRUST.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in IT Audit for SOC reporting or a similar audit framework (e.g., PCI DSS, ISO), including experience reviewing others’ testing and drafted client deliverables.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Management of Information Systems, Computer Security, or a related field.
• One or more industry-relevant certifications, or willingness to obtain, such as CPA, CISA, CISM, and/or CISSP.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear and thorough audit documentation.
• Commitment to exceptional client service with a creative problem-solving approach and consultancy mindset.
• Ability to independently manage multiple projects, tasks, and deadlines.
• Self-starter who engages effectively with various levels of client and firm leadership.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Preferred Qualifications

• Graduate degree in Accounting, Management of Information Systems, Computer Security, Audit, or a related field.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $94,000 - $153,000 a year.
  • The salary range for this opportunity is stated above. An actual salary may fall closer to one end of the range, and in certain circumstances may wind up being outside of the listed salary range.
