Overview

This full-time Associate-level Accounts Payable Specialist role supports financial record integrity for personalized travel programs, including cruises, resorts, and trips across the Caribbean and Hawaii, as well as romantic travel, family vacations, and group travel. The position centers on accurate accounts payable execution within resort travel support—ensuring each handoff clearly shows what is complete, what is pending, and who owns the next step.

Responsibilities

  • Reconcile discrepancies before reporting or processing to maintain an accurate, current accounts payable workflow.
  • Track unresolved financial exceptions and ensure ownership and follow-up are clearly assigned.
  • Maintain audit-ready documentation by documenting decisions clearly so another authorized teammate can continue work without reconstructing history.
  • Protect confidential account information as part of the accounts payable workflow.
  • Review financial inputs against supporting records to confirm data quality and transaction accuracy.
  • Provide status reporting that includes appropriate escalation when needed, rather than assumption.

Requirements

  • Confidently use process compliance and accounts payable workflow practices to carry out accounts payable execution within resort travel support.
  • Apply reconciliation while managing exceptions, owners, and deadlines.
  • Document accounts payable execution decisions clearly enough for another teammate to follow the reasoning behind the work.
  • Use sound judgment for status reporting, escalating when accounts payable execution requires it.

Success Measures

Success means financial record integrity is current, exceptions have clear owners, and another authorized teammate can continue the work without reconstructing prior history.
