Accounts Payable Support Specialist - AZ

Overview

This role supports the organization’s clients in the biotech procure-to-pay services space by maintaining an efficient and accurate accounts payable process. The Accounts Payable Support Specialist handles high-volume data entry, client and vendor communication, and timely resolution of discrepancies to help ensure smooth financial operations.

Responsibilities

• Accurately enter high volumes of financial and vendor data into the organization’s software systems.
• Provide professional, responsive customer service through email and phone.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and vendors through timely and effective communication.
• Research, investigate, and resolve discrepancies or payment-related issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to accounts payable activities.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate processing of assigned tasks.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to perform fast and accurate data entry.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Dependable, flexible, and consistent approach to work.
• Ability to independently identify, research, and resolve issues.
• Willingness and ability to learn new programs, systems, and software.
• Ability to work cooperatively and effectively within a team.

Compensation & Benefits

• Phoenix metropolitan area pay range: $40,000–$44,000 USD annually.
