Accounts Receivable Representative - Full time, Day, Remote

Overview

This full-time, remote Accounts Receivable Representative position is responsible for the timely and accurate billing and collection of payments from insurance carriers, agencies, and other entities for equipment and services provided by Senior and Community Services and Home and Community Services. Service lines may include Home Infusion/Specialty Pharmacy/Oral Dose, Skilled Nursing Facility, Home Health, Hospice, and Home Medical Equipment.

Responsibilities

• Manage billing and collections processes for various healthcare service lines
• Ensure accurate and timely payment collection from insurance carriers and agencies
• Work with insurance contracts and Medicare/Medicaid regulations to facilitate reimbursement

Requirements

• Minimum of two years recent experience in a healthcare environment focusing on reimbursement and collections
• Experience with insurance contracts and/or Medicare/Medicaid regulations

Preferred Qualifications

• College-level coursework or training in medical front office or medical billing
• Experience with Epic software

Compensation

Salary ranges vary by location as follows:

• Alaska (Anchorage): $22.07 - $32.36 per hour
• Alaska (Kodiak, Seward, Valdez): $23.00 - $33.73 per hour
• California (Humboldt): $23.00 - $33.73 per hour
• California (Northern California except Humboldt): $25.81 - $37.84 per hour
• California (Southern California except Bakersfield): $23.00 - $33.73 per hour
• California (Bakersfield): $22.07 - $32.36 per hour
• Montana (except Great Falls): $17.77 - $26.05 per hour
• Montana (Great Falls): $16.23 - $24.68 per hour
• New Mexico: $17.77 - $26.05 per hour
• Oregon (Non-Portland Service Area): $20.57 - $30.16 per hour
• Oregon (Portland Service Area): $22.07 - $32.36 per hour
• Texas: $16.23 - $24.68 per hour
• Washington (Western except Tukwila): $23.00 - $33.73 per hour
• Washington (Southwest - Olympia, Centralia & below): $22.07 - $32.36 per hour
• Washington (Tukwila): $23.00 - $33.73 per hour
• Washington (Eastern): $19.64 - $28.79 per hour
• Washington (Southeastern): $20.57 - $30.16 per hour

Placement within the salary range will be based on relevant experience and other factors. Additional compensation such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonuses may be available.
