Overview
This role is part of the Financial Planning and Analysis team, focusing on corporate-level financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, financial statement reporting, chart of accounts management, and key performance metrics analysis.
Responsibilities
- Prepare budgets and forecasts for IT, Facilities, HR, and Legal departments
- Analyze and manage departmental results, budgets, and forecasts
- Maintain and manage the chart of accounts
- Assist in preparing annual budgets and monthly forecasts
- Provide insightful financial analyses to support strategic decision-making
- Develop strong partnerships with business finance and regional accounting teams to meet corporate budgeting, forecasting, and expense management requirements
- Prepare ad hoc reports and analyses as needed
- Maintain a strong understanding of accruals and prepaid expenses to ensure accurate financial reporting
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting required; CPA and/or MBA preferred
- 3 to 5 years of finance or accounting experience, preferably with accounting experience; Big 4 experience is a plus
- Strong understanding of operating expenses (OPEX) and related financial analysis and reporting processes
- Advanced Excel skills
- Knowledge of financial applications, ERP systems, and/or planning applications is desirable
- Successful completion of background screening including employment verification, criminal search, OFAC, SS verification, credit and drug screening as applicable and in accordance with federal and local regulations
