Overview

This role supports the accounts payable function for a global, tech-enabled law firm with 45 offices across 14 countries and five continents. The team manages vendor invoices, corporate credit card charges, and reimbursements for attorneys and back-office staff.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate vendor payment methods and cash spend reporting using accounting software.
  • Collaborate with international accounting teams to manage payments for subsidiaries.
  • Analyze workflow processes to improve efficiency and segregation of duties.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing vendors.
  • Ensure accurate coding, timely processing, and payment of bills and payroll.
  • Assist with annual 1099 calculations and filings.
  • Support monthly accrued liabilities journal entries for recurring but unreceived vendor invoices.
  • Perform data entry tasks including invoice tracking and entry, utilizing Excel.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of accounts payable experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting preferred.
  • Experience in a legal firm environment highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with Aderant or 3E Elite software highly preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Teams.
  • Knowledge of accounting systems; experience with QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, and Bill.com preferred.
  • Experience with Zoho Expense is a plus but not required.
