Assistant Category Manager

Overview

This role is for an Assistant Category Manager (Remote) supporting the DEWALT category team.

You will assist in managing enterprise solutions across the DEWALT portfolio and help drive margin growth, portfolio and brand optimization, and category strategy through analytics, insights, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing enterprise solutions across the DEWALT portfolio.
• Drive margin growth, portfolio and brand optimization, and strategy using analytics, insights, and reporting.
• Guide market pricing and margin expectations.
• Support the budget process by tracking and providing inputs for budget allocation decisions made by more senior team members.
• Build category financial P&L forecast on a bi-annual basis to analyze core and NPD product assortment and margin mix for a 3-year horizon.
• Understand competitive product assortment, industry trends, and commercial environment; translate gaps into growth opportunities.
• Analyze and define the product range by brand and retail channel.
• Partner with the pricing team to establish market-based pricing for NPD and core SKUs annually and quantify the financial impact of proposed pricing changes at the portfolio and customer account level.
• Provide strategic counsel to cross-functional partners on category strategy, pricing, product assortment, margin and growth expectations, and product launch plans.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $51,700.00 - $83,300.00 (annual full-time)
