Overview
This role involves providing financial operations analysis for projects, strategic planning, and implementing operational and financial improvements for customer accounts. The position works closely with management teams to support financial decision-making and project analysis.
Responsibilities
- Conduct financial analysis and reporting
- Audit and review deal pricing
- Perform profit sharing financial reviews
- Oversee expenses and track revenue/cost forecasting and reconciliation
- Serve as the primary contact for billing and reporting
- Collaborate with the accounting department as needed
- Support the customer process change analyst team in project analysis
- Analyze invoices and vendors
- Assist in forecasting and planning on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis for the scope of customer projects
- Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic initiatives and operating plans
- Safeguard confidential and proprietary information
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Math, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 2 years of work experience, preferably with solid financial planning experience
- Analytical and operational background and experience
- Proficient PC skills and ability to use automated financial systems
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
Working Conditions and Physical Demands
- Office environment with adequate lighting, ventilation, and normal temperature and noise levels
- Internal contact within the department and with other corporate personnel; external contact with customers, agencies, vendors, and the general public
- Work assignments are diversified; problem-solving may involve developing new alternatives
- Modest physical effort including walking, standing, bending, reaching, lifting or carrying objects typically under 20 lbs (e.g., papers, books, files, small parts)
- Requires moderate dexterity and regular use of basic skills such as calculator, keyboard, hand tools, and eye/hand coordination
- May require some travel
