Associate, Working Capital

Overview

This role is within the organization’s Private Equity Performance Improvement (PEPI) practice, CFO Services team. The team supports middle market and large cap private equity firms working to improve operating results at their portfolio companies.

Responsibilities

• Work with team members to execute time-sensitive projects by structuring a work plan and managing the process through completion
• Develop findings and provide strategic recommendations
• Perform strong financial modeling and analysis, including support for 13-week cash flows (preferred)
• Use data and analytical insights to synthesize meaningful conclusions from data, opinions, or facts
• Support treasury/cash management analyses (treasury/cash management experience is a strong plus)
• Contribute to process and systems initiatives, including systems implementation work (a plus)
• Deliver high-quality client work under time pressure and communicate insights effectively

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of finance and accounting, with a preference for CPA’s
• 4-7+ years of relevant work experience in Management Consulting, Investment Banking, Private Equity, Corporate Strategy or related field (e.g., Treasury, Sourcing, Supply Chain, Corporate Finance, etc.)
• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited 4-year institution
• Strong expertise with data and analytics tools such as Microsoft Excel, PowerBI, Alteryx, Tableau, etc.
• Flexibility to travel up to 80% of the time at short/immediate notice

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong financial modeling experience, including development of 13-week cash flows (preferred)
• Experience with Tableau and think-cell software (a plus)
• Treasury/cash management experience (strong plus)
• Systems implementation experience (a plus)

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $90,000-$130,000 annually, dependent on education, experience, skills, and geography
• Discretionary bonus program based on factors including individual and firm performance (ask your recruiter for details)
