Audit Senior Associate

Overview

This role is an Audit Senior Associate position with an advisory, tax, and assurance services team serving middle market clients. You will support industry-focused audit and other assurance services by partnering with clients and internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted member of the engagement team providing assurance and consulting services to industry-specific clients.
• Proactively engage with clients throughout the year to gather information needed to complete testing and respond to questions raised.
• Plan and supervise the execution of audit engagement activities.
• Review and perform substantive testing on clients’ balance sheets and income statements.
• Conduct and review tests to assess deficiencies in internal controls and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Participate in discussions with the Manager and Partner regarding business recommendations resulting from testing and information gathered.
• Participate in on-the-job coaching and mentoring, as well as firm-wide learning and development programs.
• Network and build strong relationships with internal teams and clients.
• Support the growth and development of team members by coaching and helping associates meet their professional goals.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree and be License Eligible
• CPA preferred
• Three (3) years of experience providing financial statement auditing services within a public accounting firm

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay rate range: $85,500 to $108,420
• Actual compensation is influenced by factors including skills, prior experience, qualifications, degrees, professional certifications, work arrangements, and geographic location.
• A comprehensive compensation and benefits package is provided to eligible employees.
