Audit/Assurance Manager

Overview

Audit / Assurance Managers manage client relationships while auditing clients’ financial records to ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting rules and standards. This role combines technical audit work with client communication, leadership, and team development.

Responsibilities

• Analyze client financial records to identify potential accounting issues and research proposed solutions
• Train, mentor, and manage team members in audit processes
• Build new and strengthen existing client relationships by demonstrating foundational knowledge of clients’ businesses
• Communicate and meet with clients as requested, providing recommendations to assist with financial or tax needs

Requirements

• 4+ years of audit experience at a public accounting firm
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• CPA certification highly desired or ability to attain
• Willingness to work onsite preferred; hybrid/remote work may be considered for experienced talent

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong client relationship skills and basic knowledge of clients’ businesses

Work Schedule

• Flexible schedule with a typical Monday–Friday 8a–5p baseline, with adjustments based on business needs
