Audit/Assurance Manager

Overview

Audit / Assurance Managers manage client relationships while auditing financial records for compliance with generally accepted accounting rules and standards. This role includes analyzing client records, proposing solutions, and leading audit work through training, mentoring, and team management.

Responsibilities

• Analyze client financial records to identify potential accounting issues and conduct research to present proposed solutions
• Train, mentor, and manage team members in audit processes
• Build new and strengthen existing client relationships by demonstrating foundational knowledge of clients’ businesses
• Communicate with clients as requested, including meetings and delivering recommendations to support clients with financial or tax needs

Requirements

• 4+ years of audit experience at a public accounting firm
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• CPA certification highly desired, or ability to attain
• Onsite work preferred; hybrid/remote work may be considered for experienced talent

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA certification (highly desired)

Schedule

• Flexibility to adjust a typical Monday–Friday 8a–5p schedule as long as business needs are met
