Overview
This is a fully remote role.
The organization provides bookkeeping and accounting services for residential and commercial franchise clients. This position supports franchisees with transactional accounting and financial reporting to help maintain accurate financial records and enable effective franchise management.
Responsibilities
- Verify and reconcile revenue transactions from automated CRM software
- Reconcile automated customer payments with bank deposits
- Assist franchise clients in researching customer account discrepancies
- Ensure accounts receivable records are accurate and complete
- Perform accounts payable data entry
- Support clients with vendor payments and statement reconciliation
- Prepare general ledger journal entries, including payroll, depreciation, cost of goods sold, and inventory adjustments
- Manage construction job cost accrual accounting
- Conduct monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
- Maintain spreadsheets for monthly reporting and analysis
- Assist in preparing monthly financial reporting packages
- Perform additional general accounting and bookkeeping tasks as needed
Requirements
- Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years multi-client bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency with QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online; ProAdvisor certification preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products
Compensation & Benefits
- Estimated hourly wage range: $24.00 to $28.00
- Actual compensation is based on experience, skills, qualifications, and geographic location
