Overview
This is a fully remote Bookkeeper role with responsibility for managing multiple client accounts with high precision. The position supports accurate financial records, including reconciliations, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and general ledger activities.
Responsibilities
- Perform full monthly bank, credit card, and loan statement reconciliations
- Prepare and post standard and adjusting journal entries
- Maintain fixed asset registers and calculate depreciation schedules
- Manage vendor payments and conduct accounts receivable aging analysis
- Execute payroll processing and assist with payroll tax filings
- Maintain timely and precise records for various client accounts independently
- Review accounting entries of junior staff to ensure accuracy
- Lead historical clean-up efforts and support specialized financial projects
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive professional bookkeeping experience
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of bookkeeping principles and internal controls
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and familiarity with Google Workspace
- Intuit Bookkeeping Certification
- QBO Level 1 Certification
- QBO Payroll Certification
- Strong ability to work independently with effective time management
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills
- High-level written and verbal communication abilities
