Overview
A community services organization providing support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities is seeking a Business Finance Analyst. This remote role requires the candidate to reside in Iowa and hold a valid driver's license with a clean driving record to meet insurability policies due to occasional travel.
Responsibilities
- Prepare financial reports, forecasts, and variance analyses
- Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
- Assist with annual budgeting and monthly forecasting
- Build and maintain reports using Microsoft Excel and other financial systems
- Partner with operational leaders to explain financial results and support decision-making
- Participate in process improvement initiatives and special projects
Requirements
- Must reside in Iowa
- Valid driver's license held for at least 1 year (post permit) with a clean driving record meeting insurability policy
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field preferred
- 1-3 years of experience in finance, accounting, business analysis, or related field
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and lookup functions
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in healthcare or human services is a plus but not required
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $55,000 - $65,000 annually
