- Role: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) (Remote)

- Compensation: $20 - $30/hour
This contract position involves providing financial reporting and compliance support for a global team within the software development, technology, information, internet, IT services, and IT consulting sectors.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP standards.
- Ensure timely and accurate tax filings, including income tax, sales tax, and payroll tax, across multiple jurisdictions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules, documentation, and responding to auditor inquiries.
Requirements
- CPA or CA certification with at least 3 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or NetSuite.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting requirements.
- Experience preparing financial statements and supporting audit documentation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
