Overview
An organization is seeking an experienced accounting professional with full-cycle accounting experience for small to mid-sized businesses. This role involves managing multiple clients across various industries while collaborating with a team of accounting and finance professionals.
Responsibilities
Client Service
- Provide comprehensive accounting support to ensure client satisfaction.
- Manage full-cycle accounting tasks including accounts payable/receivable, monthly reconciliations, journal entries, month-end close, financial statement preparation, data analysis, and payroll/HR.
- Identify opportunities to improve clients' financial health.
- Stay updated on industry trends and new technologies.
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with managers and peers to cross-train, balance workloads, and meet deadlines.
- Participate in ongoing training and team meetings to promote innovation and professional growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum of 7 years of full-cycle accounting experience, including month-end closing.
- Experience with QuickBooks Online is required; certification is preferred.
- Experience with Sage Intacct is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Bill.com, Expensify, and other cloud-based accounting tools.
- Dedicated workspace and reliable high-speed internet.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Process-oriented mindset with a commitment to confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven ability to manage multiple clients and industries effectively.
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive pay: W2, non-exempt, $31-39 per hour.
- Performance-based bonus compensation plan.
