Overview

Remote interim role with a 3-month engagement, with potential to extend to 6 months, supporting a PE-backed global company. Start ASAP. This consultant will lead accounting operations, strengthen close processes and accrual accounting, oversee daily cash forecasting, and guide the team through year-end.

Responsibilities

• Lead accounting operations for a global, multi-entity environment
• Strengthen month-end close processes, including accrual accounting
• Oversee accrual accounting schedules, reversals, and supporting documentation
• Establish and maintain close calendars, SOPs, and checklists
• Deliver timely management reporting
• Oversee global, multi-entity consolidations
• Manage daily cash forecasting and support cash management needs
• Guide the team through year-end activities
• Improve reporting and adapt quickly to new systems/ERP tools

Requirements

• Hands-on Controller experience with strong operational accounting and team leadership skills
• Expertise in accrual accounting, including schedules, reversals, and supporting documentation
• Proven ability to establish close calendars, SOPs, checklists, and timely management reporting
• Experience overseeing global, multi-entity consolidations
• Strong cash management and cash forecasting experience
• Strong ERP skills, with the ability to improve reporting and quickly adapt to new systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Sage Intacct experience
• PE portfolio and lender compliance reporting experience
• Media or advertising industry experience
