Controller, Fund Accounting

Overview

An early-stage, high-growth Private Equity fund is seeking a Controller to lead all aspects of accounting along with additional operational responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Report directly to the Managing Partners
• Manage a mix of fund accounting, management company accounting, tax liaison duties, and operational accounting
• Oversee fund administration
• Ensure data integrity and manage systems
• Support deal execution
• Assist with portfolio operations
• Handle ad hoc projects and provide operational support

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 5-7 years of relevant experience
• Experience in Asset Management and/or Private Equity (required)
• Fund accounting experience (required)
• CPA certification (preferred)
