Finance & Operations Associate

Overview

This role supports the day-to-day financial decision-making of a luxury haircare brand. You will work directly with the Executive Director of Operations to help guide investment in growth through cash forecasting, inventory planning, and business analysis.

The team currently consists of 12 people and the business is doing $30M+ per year, on pace for $50M.

Responsibilities

• Maintain financial models and weekly cash flow reports
• Reconcile forecasts against actuals and flag risks early
• Forecast demand from sales, subscriptions, and promos
• Recommend when and how much inventory to reorder
• Analyze margins and profitability and build scenarios for major decisions
• Coordinate purchase orders, supplier payments, and samples
• Identify repetitive tasks and automate workflows

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and a drive to resolve discrepancies
• Comfortable working in Excel or Google Sheets
• Ability to connect numbers to business outcomes
• Organized, proactive, and able to follow through
• Tech-savvy with interest in using AI to work smarter
• Coachable, with strong questioning and communication

Preferred Qualifications

• DTC ecommerce, subscription, beauty, or CPG experience
• Exposure to cash flow forecasting, financial modeling, or reconciliations
• Experience with Shopify, Recharge, or Snowflake
• Finance, accounting, analytics, or supply chain coursework or internships
