Credit Analyst (remote WA)

Overview

This role supports responsible lending decisions by investigating, analyzing, and documenting credit information for prospective and existing commercial clients. Credit analysis work helps balance growth with risk while ensuring each decision is compliant and well supported.

Responsibilities

• Investigate credit and financial information for prospective and existing commercial clients.
• Analyze business and personal financial statements, tax returns, cash flow, collateral, and sources of repayment.
• Prepare credit approval packages, spreadsheets, summaries, and written analyses for loan decision makers.
• Support new, renewed, and existing loan requests ranging from simple to moderately complex.
• Ensure all work complies with internal policies, procedures, security requirements, and applicable regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, Law, Computer Science, or a related field (Required).
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Two or more years of related credit or financial analysis experience (Required).

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong ability to analyze financial statements, tax returns, and cash flow with a solid grasp of basic accounting principles.
• Strong analytical thinking and sound judgment for credit investigations.
• Ability to manage high volumes of work accurately while adapting to shifting priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
• Clear, professional communication in writing and conversation.
• Understanding of federal and state regulations related to commercial lending.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and other applicable systems.

• Targeted starting salary range (based on experience): $30.34–39.98
