Overview
A leading accounting and consulting firm is seeking a Senior Manager to join their National Deal Advisory practice. This team supports M&A activities for Private Equity clients and strategic corporations across the US and internationally. Services include buy-side and sell-side due diligence, working capital assistance, merger integration and optimization, divestitures, and carve outs. In 2024, the team advised on approximately 600 deals with an aggregate transaction value exceeding $19 billion.
This role offers flexibility to work from multiple offices or remotely for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage buy-side and sell-side accounting and financial due diligence engagements
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and engage effectively with target company executives
- Perform quality of earnings and working capital analyses
- Identify and evaluate factors impacting enterprise value and purchase or sales price
- Analyze financial and operational trends of target companies
- Communicate due diligence findings clearly in both verbal and written formats
- Supervise multiple professionals and prioritize tasks, serving as a hands-on lead from engagement inception to completion
- Participate in performance reviews and contribute to new business development activities
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (preferred), Finance, or related business discipline
- Minimum of 8 years in a professional services environment, including at least 5 years of direct experience in Financial Due Diligence
- Background in audit, financial reporting, or CFO responsibilities preferred
- Experience at Big 4, National, or large Regional CPA firms preferred
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, data analysis/mining, and critical thinking skills
- Experience working with Private Equity groups preferred
- Willingness to travel as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree or relevant professional certification such as CPA or CFA

- Salary range: $105,563 to $247,900, determined by role, experience, education, skills, and geographic location
