Overview
This role supports higher education institutions facing complex enrollment and financial sustainability challenges by developing and implementing data-driven financial aid strategies. The Financial Aid Optimization Analyst works with analytic tools, established methodologies, and innovative modeling techniques to inform institutional decision-making. The position involves collaboration with client staff and senior engagement teams.

Requirements
- Current U.S. work authorization required
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in consulting, higher education, or relevant work
- Strong analytical reasoning skills, including proficiency in Excel or other analytic tools
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
- Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in financial aid, admissions, enrollment management, or institutional research
- Familiarity with statistical tools or programming languages such as R, Python, or SQL
- Experience with data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Comfortable using emerging AI tools to improve efficiency, analysis, research, and communication while applying sound judgment and data stewardship
Compensation & Benefits
- Estimated base salary range: $55,000 - $75,000
- Total estimated compensation including annual incentive: $59,400 - $84,000
- Eligibility to participate in annual incentive compensation program
