Experienced Tax Preparer

Overview

This position is for experienced tax preparers seeking a flexible schedule and an opportunity to use tax law knowledge and client service skills in a fast-paced environment.

PTIN Certification: Yes

Responsibilities

• Prepare individual, trust, and/or partnership tax returns
• Provide exceptional customer service to clients
• Communicate effectively with clients throughout the tax preparation process
• Work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and professionalism
• Participate in training and continuing tax education as required

Requirements

• 1+ seasons of previous experience completing individual, trust, and/or partnership tax returns
• Passion for providing extraordinary customer service
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
• Basic computer skills
• Willingness to learn
• Experience in accounting, finance, retail, bookkeeping or taxes

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a client-facing role
• Familiarity with tax preparation processes and applicable tax law
