Expert Opportunity - Senior Accountant ($80/hr, up to $1,600/week)

Overview

A leading foundational AI lab is seeking experienced senior accountants to assist in training their latest language model on professional document, spreadsheet, and slide deck tasks. This role involves creating, evaluating, and refining AI-generated materials related to core accounting workflows.

Responsibilities

• Work with AI-generated documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks across key accounting workflows including:
  • Monthly close reconciliations and journal entry packages
  • Audit request schedules and prepared by client (PBC) documentation
  • Accounts payable and receivable aging reports
  • Budget-to-actual variance summaries
  • Internal control walkthroughs and SOX testing memos
  • Vendor and expense audit trail spreadsheets

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate accounting, financial operations, or internal/external audit support
• Hands-on ownership of close reconciliations and audit request schedules
• Deep fluency in GAAP and PBC documentation standards
• Advanced skills in spreadsheet-based control testing using Excel or Google Sheets, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and macros
• Expert-level proficiency in document, spreadsheet, and slide deck creation with excellent written communication and strong attention to detail

Compensation & Commitment

• Hourly rate: $80
• Flexible commitment: 5-20 hours per week, with the option for more
• Fully remote position with the ability to work on your own schedule
• Immediate start date available
