Finance Business Relationship Partner, Shared Services

Overview

This role serves as a Finance Business Partner for Shared Services, providing centralized financial support, expertise, and coordination across network operations and finance functions.

Shared Services represents 15% of the total FTEs and over $500M expense budget for the UVMH network. The position supports the System VP and SVP in managing centralized financial oversight across shared services areas, including workflow priorities, annual budget, monthly monitoring, and project status. It also facilitates execution of strategic and operational shared services initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance, training, mentoring, project leadership, and subject matter expertise to Shared Services leaders and team members
• Work collaboratively with the System VP, SVP, and Shared Service Leaders to assess resource needs and develop analytical insights
• Support strategic decision-making through financial modeling, business case development, and evaluation of shared services support structures
• Deliver consultative financial analysis and support to network and partner Shared Services departments, including:
  • Financial analysis
  • Performance reporting
  • Benchmarking
  • Actionable recommendations aligned to organizational objectives
• Lead and support multiple complex, high-impact, cross-functional initiatives to ensure successful planning, execution, and communication of project outcomes
• Manage support for the Shared Services Network Position Review Group (NPRG) committee

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required)
• Seven or more years of related experience demonstrating expertise in healthcare finance, accounting, budgeting, and financial analysis
• Demonstrated experience supporting operational and strategic decision-making within a healthcare organization (preferred)

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Healthcare Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline
• Experience supporting operational and strategic decision-making within a healthcare organization

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary Range: Min $47.83 / Mid $59.79 / Max $71.75
